MiniNet Digital
This product was originally designed to cater for traffic sign applications such as lighting school warning signs at the correct times. The base station can send on / off controls to up to eight out stations and each out station can report two status inputs back to the base. Other applications include alarm systems and transmission of pump inhibit signals on Waste Water Treatment works. Typical range is upto 1Km.
MiniNet Pulse
The MiniNet system has been designed to transmit pulse output from electricity, gas and water mteters that tend to be mounted in remote locations in older industrial premises. The Out Station can operate from an external supply or from batteries. Battery life is approximately three years, depending on duty cycle.
Up to 4 Base Stations may be used in close proximity (within radio coverage), using the same radio frequency, but having unique Base Station addresses. Up to 8 Out Stations can be used with each Base Station, each one having a unique Out Station address.
In order to reduce power consumption, the Out Station is transmit only. Pulses are counted, stored in memory and then transmitted at a preset time interval, selectable between 1 minute and 12 hours by DIP switches. Each count is transmitted 3 times at about 1 second intervals to help overcome possible clashes or interference, providing greater reliability.
